The Ruby on Rails user group is for those interested in improving or learning more about building web apps on the Ruby on Rails framework. The group is open to individuals of all skill levels.

What
The Ruby on Rails user group is group of individuals dedeicated to learning and building cool web apps in ROR. This group will meet monthly for educational meetings where we will work through assignments, answer questions, and share the 'what's current' updates in Ruby.

When
Our first meetup will be November 15th from 6pm to 8pm. We will schedule further meetup dates at this event.

Skills in Ruby on Rails are in high demand in part because ROR has been growing rapidly as a chosen framework for today's dynamic websites and web applications. It is also the chosen framework for applications such as Basecamp, Twitter, Groupon, Shopify, and the Yellow Pages.

This user group will hopefully spawn a great community of ROR developers capable of building awesome stuff.
